MUARA, Monday, 16 September 2019 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed the arrival of Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Laut (TNI-AL) KRI BIMA SUCI as a goodwill visit to Brunei Darussalam beginning on Monday, 16 September 2019 until Thursday, 19 September 2019.
MUARA, Friday 13 September 2019 – The three-day Exercise Planning Conference (EPC) for Exercise HORNBILL 27/19 between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) came to close today at the Multinational Coordination Centre (MNCC), Muara Naval Base.
MUARA, Tuesday, 10 September 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) today received the first study visit from the participants of the Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff Course (GKS CSC), Republic of Singapore. The course consist of participants from the Singapore Armed Forces and 6 foreign participants namely from Australia, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia and the United States of America. During the visit, Commander Shahairil bin Haji Mohd Shahlan, RBN, Acting Chief of Staff welcomed the delegation which was headed by Colonel Simon Lee, Commandant GKS CSC.
MUARA, Tuesday, 10 September 2019 - KDB DARULAMAN returned to Muara Naval Base this morning after successfully completing two multi-lateral exercises, the 18th Annual Southeast Asia Cooperation and Training (SEACAT) and the inaugural ASEAN-US Maritime Exercise (AUMX) 2019. Present to receive KDB DARULAMAN was Captain Norshahrinizam bin Haji Talib, RBN Fleet Commander.
MUARA, Monday, 9 September 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy Ship KDB DARULAMAN apprehended two foreign trawlers conducting illegal fishing activities in Brunei Darussalam’s waters. Both trawlers were first sighted at 0945H in the vicinity of Magpie Oilfield on Sunday, 8 September 2019.
